  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Approximately when will the 0770 and 0801 be released?

It is an inside joke amongst the Busse knife clan. They jokingly say two weeks as a means of implying that they are not ready to give a release date.

It's also one of the best evidences for the theory of relativity.

Busse said the knife would come out in two weeks, and people waited three years. Since Busse is never wrong, and we have records of waiting three years, both statements must be true. Therefore we have a practical example of a difference in the progression of time dependant on your proximity with INFI.
I think that's the part that confused Einstein a bit, the equation isn't complete without INFI.

word from Thomas on another forum is that the 801s may be hitting the streets this month, atleast they are trying to make it happen.

OKN (Kyle) is a very cool Dude. As well as Bob, Eric, Mario, Justin, and many others. We are family.

I'm beginning to think never and that they are myths. Maybe MythBusters will do an episode on it?

You know the more we complain about the release times the less time they are going to give a heads up on whats coming out and I dont blame them.

If it helps, think of it this way. Kershaws and ZTs are like diamonds, they take some time to make but are f'n amazing when finished.

come on now, even I know not to go there. I really never ever understood why people think that because a knife is shown at blade that there is any shred of obligation to release it to the masses period, let alone a given time frame in which it was never specified anyways. Lets see, both knives were in prototype stages so with that in mind and there was only 7 rexford 0801s in existence all in varying degrees of completion and we are gonna start with the "its a unicorn" type posts? Just how long do you think it should take to get 7 prototype knives (which nothing is tooled up being in the prototype phase and nothing certain) into full production and produce enough pieces to satisfy the first run of 1000? And at a fit and finish level that wont have you coming back complaining a second time?

Thats all ready happened. Thats why no release date was given on the 0801 to begin with. Its totally damned if you do damned if you dont. They announced the 0777 and gave a deadline and it was repeatedly misssed for many different reasons. Granted it was a seriously long delay but what was the alternative? And what good did the complaining do? And even now with no deadlines given people still complain. Its amazing;
