The April promotional giveaway features a 7 inch hand forged W2 clip point blade to grind ,along with a complete Bubble Jig grinding system.
This includes the all thread/nut and thread protectors used when grinding folder blades.
We will have a video out within a week demonstrating how to grind folder blades with this jig.
The bevel grinding clamp in the foreground is set up to grind folding knife blades. The clamp will hold folder blades from 1/16" to 1/4 inch thick. The clamp holds them absolutely rigid in this position. You mount the Bubble Jig 90 degrees to its normal position when grinding full tang or hidden tang blades. The one in the pic is the first one I have ground with this set up; the steel is 1/16" thick.
Pick a number from 1 to 1,000; one entry per person. There will be a numbers chosen list posted at the beginning of each day on the first and last pages of the thread.
This contest will run until Friday the 15 of April @ 9:00 pm. The winning number will be chosen by my good friend the atmospheric random number generator.
Good luck and happy grinding, Fred
