You and me, Pete, you and me. However, I just bought a 055, off another site, that is a very unique one of one and will post photos in the SPS.Well...now 0/16. Reckon I can now be considered a tightwad.
Steep is the word! I do love it, though!
Too much for me. I would be in at $99
I like it - but I agree that the price seems steep for the options. Besides, the 055 is so...well...small (and I already have two that, combined, cost half the price).

The drop point, nickel silver, and bone version is more my style...I twitch a little every time I see it, lol. If I get around to selling my CRK, I'll probably grab one. Yeah - that translates roughly to selling my CRK to buy a BuckThere's one in the bay for 300$??
so ya bought one havent got it yet and arent happy? or did i get all that wrong?149 made, that's what sold me, plus it wasn't 150+....In 5 years people will be paying 200+-$ for them....The 110 with the same features are full production knives. I'm almost sure they'll produce more than 149 of them....
No matter what Buck does for the BOTM someone isn't going to be happy about it. Including me....![]()
This one sold out pretty fast.

yes Sir, I knew what ya meant....just heckling for fun.....You're reading it wrong jb... The first statement is praising the BOTM 55. The second is the general feeling some folks have about the BOTM in general. There's been 16 of them and they haven't bought a single one, so there's no pleasing everyone....![]()
Isn't that 149 number strange? I've seen Buck produce 150 of a few of their BotM's, but never 149. Do ya think something happened to the 150th, lol?
I snagged one without a seconds hesitation, so I'm definitely not unhappy with the release, but I think $90 - $100 would have been more in line with the pricing of previous BotM releases. Although, it seems the 2019 releases are a bit pricier. In the end... It's the difference of $15 - $25 and really not a big deal for such a limited release.
Going by how fast they went, it seems like Buck priced them just right though.
