[h=2]April MYB thread[/h]
Let's get this one started.

The idea is simple. Move your body. Get fitter.
It ain't a contest. It's about doing what you can do to get mobile.

Between the dates of April 1 and April 30, the challenge is to earn 50 Becker Points. Points can be earned in the following fashion:

1 mile (1.6 km) on foot = 1 Becker Point
4 miles (6.4 km) road cycling = 1 Becker Point
2 miles (3.2 km) mountain biking = 1 Becker Point
1 mile (1.6 km) swimming = 6 Becker Points

If you just do one thing, you'll need to hoof it 50 miles, or road bike 200 miles, or mountain bike 100 miles, or swim 8.3 miles. But you can combine items to build toward 50 Becker Points in any fashion you choose. Honor system in play.

The reward? You'll feel better, and you'll be participating with a group of supportive peers.

I know you've been working out TJ.....

...but I kinda haven't....much.

Had a 1400m swim last Thursday for 5.25 points, and a ~2 mile walk tonight for 2.

Starting off April with 7.25 points.

I'm at 2 whole points so far. Walked the dog (Becker) for 1 mile on the 1st and the 5th. Guess I better start doing 2 miles/day to make 50!

thanks for the thread. Need some motivation, lol

Oh, so we ARE doing one this month!
Yes, I know, I could start it. But I always figure as soon as I do, someone else will, and theirs will be better.

Anyway,
Walked 2.5 miles on the first;
Another 2.5 on the second;
Yet another 2.5 miles, though in two separate trips, on the 4th.
Got about a mile in on Easter.
Went for 2 miles on the 6th.

Uh huh, uh huh, carry the two, um:
10.5 BPs to start April off. I'll need to step up my game a bit if I'm going to hit 50 this month.
I should probably do a couple 5k's next weekend as penance for missing BeckerWest. But it's for a good cause.

2 more miles with my buddy, Becker.....up to 4 points now. gonna have to gain some ground over the next two weeks.

Only 1/2 mile walk last night, but I brought the kids and the dogs, so it's all good.

15.5 BPs so far.

2nd ride today. My butt hurts even more. 20 miles.

5+17.25=22.25 bp's ttd.

2 mile walk tonight. Loaded up the Rush 24 with a few axes to take it for a test drive. Tough to tell how it carried, as I found a Yamaha electronic bass drum pad in someone's trash and carried it for a mile and a half or so. I wish I didn't see these things. Maybe I can sell it for parts if it doesn't work....although it's likely to end up in my trash next week, LOL.

2+22.25=24.25
