Nice, that looks pretty good. I would probably have that curve inwards though, to give it a clip point, personally. It looks kinda off to me as shown.

Yeah, but I wanted to leave some "meat" back there. I like having some heft on the back of a chopper. Makes the first 5" - 6" of blade from the tip a real sweet spot, IMHO. Kind of like a golok.
 
I'll be in the market for a new folder in the next week or so. I have about $200 to spend. My options so far

DDR gunhammer
emerson cqc15
spyderco milie(maybe a Ti)
BM bedlam
BM contego
spyderco police 3

Any thoughts or suggestions. Dindn't feel like posting that in general cuz I don't want a bunch of recomendations for a cs lawman. Feel free to recomend others.
 
Joe is a sharp cat, isn't he Wooly? I have met some really good guys through the Becker and HI and axe forums. I love it.
 
My current favorites are my gun hammer and BM rift, if that helps, edctac. I like the looks of the Bedlam too, but the GH is just such an epic knife. It's semi-custom (or custom, if you're looking to go DDR rather than HTM) though, so in my opinion it's in a different category. If you hadn't noticed, you can now get different colored handles too on the HTM versions.
 
I'm waiting to find my favorite folder. Got a military, Gayle Bradley, and a 552 Ritter grip coming. Hopefully one fits the bill. The others ill sell for something else. Maybe combined I can find a blackjack bk5
 
You may not like that ritter grip until you get custom handles on it. But once you do, it's an amazing knife. The design is great, but the handle is a bit cheap-feeling. Not that it's not plenty sturdy, but it really could have benefited from some G10 or carbon fiber, or titanium.
 
Im not much on tac-folders..but I will admit that last one Biscuit posted..THAT is something I would gladly own. If it wasnt 260 bucks. 0561 ZT I think it was?

IMHO, Joe's one of the most knowledgeble guys that I've seen in regards to using machetes and choppers as multi-purpose utility implements. Plus, he's a fellow Tar-Heel. :D Yeah, I'm normally here or in the W&S and there are some good folks here for sure.

Hmmmmmm....not looking good to me. Of course, I'm spoiled by Giordano's and my homemade version of their Chicago Style stuffed pizza.

I carry a BM lg Bone Collector axis lock daily. I love it! That and my Skeletool, TMHunt mini Wharnie and BK14. I don't usually have all these on my person, but they're all on me at the moment.

Last couple days I've been carrying my ZT0300 and either my JYD or Crawford/Kasper.
