Wildcat, that looks sweet :) glad I help with it ;)

If it shows up tomorrow it would be sweet :D

I'm thinking I should hold off on buying knives for awhile and buy a gun. It's been awhile since I bought a new boomstick. Of course I have all the guns I need.....but about 1% of the guns I want LOL

I'm pretty stoked about this one. Its a much nicer gun than the RIA that I have. It needs a nice set of wood grips and a different front sight, but after that I think I'll just shoot it for a while before I change anything else. I didn't get home til after dark and I wanted to clean and lube it before I shot it, so I'm getting pretty antsy to shoot it already. I'm thinking that I'll have to get to the range tomorrow and put at least a couple boxes of ammo through it.

Haha, yeah glad you could help with it too. I had to yank some money out of savings because paypal takes a few days to transfer to my bank, but you definitely helped fund it.

Thrill, I love knives, but theres just something about a new gun that makes me feel all tingly inside.

I like knives/blades/hawks/axes but I love guns!

I was just thinking about the day I had and realized it was pretty darn good. I got the new gun that I've been wanting, my Fiddleback bushcrafter is back in my hands again and with a free hat, found a yellow Case medium stockman on clearance for $25, picked up a work sharp sharpener, and got to have some Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

oh yes! once u shoot a Kimber...the other 1911s just dont seem the same! I made the mistake of shooting a few...now I aint content until I buy one for myself...keep passing up other brands.

i dunno. I love my cz. went to the rental range the other day and all i thought about was my cz. i shot a bunch and i could only think of my baby at home. i wish that is what marriage was like while your at the strip club

A gun and a wife/gf are waaaaaaaay different things.....the gun isn't ever gonna talk back or make you sleep on the couch. :D

Yay, BK-2 is finally done! But had to ajust the sheath retention and shape cos I changed the handle abit but now if you shake the damn thing to hard the knife comes out...Hmmm...One problem after another.

Here is a picture of my new friend that I picked up today. This thing is gonna be my baby.

awww, yeah. looks just like mine, but with the finish still on. :-D
You're gonna love it!

Some new stuff came in yesterday.

My black murse came along with the velcro loop for a pistol. Going to use it for quick range trips.

And I got a couple of K&M's with the new Japanese compasses. I've always wanted the brass original, but man, it's heavy by comparison.
The aluminum version weighed in at 1.0695 oz (30.32 g). The brass was nearly triple the weight at 2.9525 oz (83.70 g).

The K&M website is a bit confusing about the compasses.
If you just read that one update, you'd think they are still using Chinese compasses after the Suuntos ran out.
However, here's what Keith said to me in a recent email:

We are now using a high quality Japanese compass made by the Sun Company that appears to be every bit as well made as the discontinued Suuntos we previously used. In over 1 ½ years we’ve yet to have one returned for any reason. Hope that helps.

So is the rest of that compass a tube for other items? Or is it just a long piece of brass?

Yeah, look at the little pamphlet on the right. It's a hollow tube for matches and whatnot. Two O-rings make for a waterproof seal. The O-rings in the pic are just extras that came with it, and the other rubber pieces are coverings for the compasses.
