So I've decided to get the April Special (I've been eyeing John's Hiker ever since I first saw it). However I'm torn on what handle/liner choice. I know that whatever I end up choosing I will be happy with, but it's still hard for me to choose. So I'm going to leave it up to you guys. Poll will run until John has to order the supplies for the knife.

I got black micarta with red liners on my March special and trust me, you will not be disappointed.
 
I say let the maker decide.

He does say "your design or mine" and I know that I was picky about many details when planning my custom Stomper, so I say let the maker choose.
 
I'm partial to John's Tiger Stripe. I have Tiger Stripe with white liners on both of my Keps and it looks awesome.
 
Tiger Stripe??? He never told me of that option. I guess now I'll have to order another knife. :p
 
I would choose maroon micarta with yellow liners, but I`m a little strange!
 
John, I can see that looking pretty good. Haven't you done something with that combination already? It may have been one of the other makers around here though. I remember seeing something like that.

I`ve done maroon with yellow liners for udtjim.
 
Well it's tied between the tigerstripe with black and letting you choose. If you need to order stuff soon, go ahead and cast your vote, if not we can wait for a couple more votes, and if there are no more votes in the next few days then you cast your vote then.

I`ve got a pretty good supply of materials on hand, so let`s wait a little longer.
 
After seeing the red micarta, I like the red with black really well too.:thumbup: I might have to add another hiker soon. What a great good for everything knife.
