Since I read Joe Flowers review in Tactical knives magazine Ive wanted one of these. Few days ago I recieved one in the mail as a gift. WOW I think this knife is awesome. Feels great in hand, very comfy. Plan on taking it to the sandbox with me. Just to see how well you could see it I placed it in a swallow puddle that was alittle murky. Walked back a few yards. Could still see it good. I liked how it the carved the stick. Felt great. Cant wait to return and take it on a few hiking/camping trips. Anyway enjoy.

It's a very good knife. If it cost a little less then all of the lobstermen in my area would be carrying them. Too bad H1 is so expensive and us Mainers are so cheap. :P

Congrats on your new knife! It's a keeper for sure!

Thanks for the pics. Within the year, I'm going to pick up an Aqua Salt and a Caspian Salt.

Why the sharpened false edge coming out on many knives of recent? I have never encountered a use or desire to carry a 'false edged' knife. It eats the heck out of a wood baton; won't allow you to place your finger up there for manuevering the knife tip for delicate work; and on this Aqua Salt it seems to be set back a bit from the tip in the photos from what I could see. I like the style and look of the knife except for the false edge.

For us, the spine's swedge-grind removes weight from the blade, adding balance and penetration performance.

Hope this helps.

Caine - it was great to meet you at SHOT, be safe!

I really like the blade shape on those. Looks like the perfect general utility knife.
