AR-7 anyone?

I had an old AR-7 when I was a kid. I think it was the Armalite version as it was the late 60's or early 70's. I don't recall any problems with it but it was not terrible accurate for me and, even broken down, was pretty bulky. I sold it after I realized there were other rifles I liked better (like the Nylon 66).

Heres an old pic of my stainless M6 i found a little while after they went out of production.

i wouldn't part with mine for anything! I just bought a MOLLIE shotgun scabbard for it that i have covered with MOLLIE pouches filled with .22 shells and survival items. i also have several Uncle Mikes Pistol ammo walles full of .410 shotshells and buckshot.

i also found a solution if you happen to loose your linch-pin if it gets lost:

did a bunch of self mods on it and its great for me.

I have an 80's era Charter Arms. Frequent jams while chambering a round, no matter what kind of ammunition. I would never bet my life on this thing!!!

Word is that the later versions from Henry are better quality (???).

I have one from the '80s or '90s by Survival Arms in FL. The first time I used it, it would double frequently. It got over that, and has been an OK rifle. I had to drift the front sight half-way out of the dovetail to zero the thing, but other than that, it's been good.

Stay sharp,
