AR in S30V!??

Does anyone know about the status of the AR in S30V? I am assuming that nobody has received any shipments of them yet? Soon hopefully!! Please put us in the know Strider Guys.:)

I've heard mixed reports, anyone have some recent definative news? :) Is the happy day close at hand? :D
 
TAD has already had and sold some. There are some ready, but probably already spoken for. I would think the major release will be set for Atlanta in a month. Mick also had some to sell at the table in Eugene, OR. Get in line.
 
Oh TAD had AR's also? Cool, I thought they only got a few of the S30V GB's in a week or so ago.....
 
What Rc are the S30V's going to be at. CRK treated theirs at about 57 which is not using the steel's full potential.
 
Actually, 58-59, not 57.
On a hard use knife, toughness is an issue. S30V should be tougher than BG42 at the same hardness, so it is suprizing that Reeves dropped down in hardness slightly. But from what I've heard from owners of S30V Sebenzas, there is no problem with edge holding at 58-59. The blade must be super tough at that hardness.
