I got a call from our friend, BRP, last week. He wanted to show me his new AR. When I finally got a chance to see this beauty, we both thought it interesting that the stop pin on this massive knife, was as small as it was. Any comments on this aspect of the AR? Anyone out there with an older model? Any forseeable problems down the road?
Regards,
Barry H

Barry,

I got an older model. The stop is small but it is a solid piece of heat treated steel. It is also fited into the holes in the liners. I don't think there will be any problems. The AR is by far the most solid folder out there.

It is small, but seems to be more than enough for the blade. After having the AR for almost half a year, the stop pin is just beginning to get some light scuffs, and absolutely no physical wear at all. As Barry said, it's not going anywhere, that pin is secured right into the titanium liners :)
