Architectural software question

Anyone know of a user friendly software for the novice. Mainly want it to design a small house and enormous workshop.

This used to be an easy program to use. For about $30 it's hard to beat.

I have used the Broaderbund Total 3D Home and Total 3D Landscape programs. Mostly easy to use and inexpensive, especially if you buy a version or two behind the latest.

I'm thinking about maybe a 16th century Japanese design , using concrete and steel.
