I recently bought a couple of these things and after playing with them for a bit decided that I could make some minor changes to make them a little more user friendly.....tell me what you think.
Here's another picture that better shows the purpose of the lanyard at the end. I cut a small notch in the sheath so I can stretch the lanyard up over the end and have it rest in the notch like a safety strap. I've swung the thing by the ball chain and it doesn't move at all.
Cool idea. I just started my cord wrap one hole farther back on the handle, so that the first hole would still snap into the kydex. It might be worth the simple extra tweek to wrap a little farther down the handle though. I've got two of the A.G. Russel D-2 ARCLITEs on the way, and I am going to do a nicer job on those than I did on my 420HC ARCLITE.
