are 110 blades interchangeable?

I could wait for an old blade but it just might need some tweaking to make it fit
properly. I think I'll just carry it around like it is for awhile enjoy it and maybe
later on send it somewhere and someone more knowledgeable can fit it up with a
new blade.

A blade with the same tang stamp should fit. You might find a knife of that era on the Bay with a beat-up frame and a decent blade, but it will still be fairly expensive.

But at least you'd have a great knife that would be historically accurate and that's a very desirable knife. Maybe somebody on this forum will even suggest a better way to go about this.

Lots of 110-lovers herebouts.

There is a broad range of variations within the inverted two liner. Might want to look at Joe's sticky and see where yours falls. With it being a brass rocker pin, it will be a little older. Some have steel rear spacer, some brass, some brass integral to the frame. Even with the short blade, yours is a good looker. And in one of your pics, the handle grain almost, or does look like it could be Segua. I'm not too sure on that tho... Maybe Scott will pop in on that one.

Those handles are also glued on. Look at the edges where the wood meets the bolster. Some times it looka like the glue was also a filler for a bad fit on the wood. Is an interesting study on glue from that era.

but the blade was re tiped very nicely!
i have bought two line knives with full length blades for less then 30$
if you are going to use it it is fine as is
if you want to restore it for saving and having a good one it is worth it also!
like the other bucks also!

Up here in Canada I'm grateful for American sellers on ebay who will ship up here.
We don't have many gun shows up this way so to get a hold on old 110's is
virtually non-existent. I pay ebay prices for mine unfortunately, however I'm glad
some of you are getting fantastic deals out there.
The way I look at it regardless of what you or I pay these old knives are finding
their way into the right hands, we who collect.
