Are any of you

I might have to camp out on somebody's floor if I do get the green light to go

... and if Tara's sleeping bag is full.

Us paycheck to paycheck kids barely got travel money, let alone room and board figured out.

That's why you take along an essential piece of survival gear.

Ahw....I just noticed the line in Wiki: 'The show is only open to those in the trade and press, it is not open to the general public'

Jeff- where would be the best place for everyone to stay? we'll need to start starving our kids.......i mean saving our pennies...so I wouldn't mind getting an idea about the price.

The last shot show i went to was in new orleans....can't rember the year.....two rapes and one murder later of the people attending the show it will never be in new orleans again......I was working at a gunshop at the time, but my old boss keeps me on the books as outside sales rep so he can continue to let me go to shot show....just have not had time......I may try this year the wife loves vegas....Drew

So how persactly does one who is not in the trade or the press get his grubby little hands on some tickets to enter this valhalla of black rifles and sharp pointy things?

Hmm... What are the dates for that? It just might be the perfect time to get married. LOL :D

KGD, your correct, I just read the info on this page and it states no general public.

"Attendance at the SHOT Show is RESTRICTED to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. The show is not open to the public, and NO one under age 16 shall be admitted (including infants).
Admission to the show requires government issued photo identification plus documentation demonstrating trade affiliation. Show exhibitors and media subject to different credentialing requirements "

THAT SUCKS :grumpy:

Damn...this is actually going to be the show I have to miss for once. :( :( :(

I'm starting up school again to go in for a degree in education, and the last show really screwed with my schedule. I'm sure you'll see the other guys from the shop...but they won't be half as excited as I would be to be there...Really glad I got to finally meet you in person last year though. :)

:( :( :(
