Are Busse Knives That Good

Aw man! I've always wanted a Macaw! Now the obsession has returned. :D

For what I have invested in INFI I could have a whole flock of macaw's. :o

I was a skeptic for a long long time. I considered them sharpened prybars! All hype.

Now move ahead a year and I only have a few random other branded blades left in the collection. I am a 100% convert. You will not find anything better than the Busse family knives. INFI is no BS. I am also an SR77 junkie.

Buy a BWM while they still have them and you will understand.

I caught the bug almost a year ago and personally I feel no need to look at any other FB's. You will hear on this forum about how a quality heat treatment can make or break a blade, when you use a busse (kin) blade you find out the difference quickly. Besides being some cool looking blades they have heat treatments that go above and beyond what you would ever find with a mass production blade. This brings out the best possible performance from the steel and is probably one of the main reasons these knives have the rep they do.

I only have rats and dogs now (saving for a hog :) ) but without question can say these are some of the best fixed blades I've owned. Get one and you will know what were talking about.

I've used, abused, bent, & broken a lot of blades over the years. Never bent or broken a Busse. Just this past weekend I was batoning the B11 through some tough, season hardwood with a wood baton that was about as big around as my wrist. The INFI didn't blink. When all was said and done we had a fire for the family to roast marshmellows on. I was a bit sweaty, my hands were tingling a bit. The wood was hard enough that I could still feel the vibration through the Res C. Never happened before. That's how hard I was hitting it. Of course, I forgot my gloves, so that could have been the issue. Anyway, I don't know of any other blade that I'd have felt safe wailing on like that. Remember saying, as I was hitting the front 1/3 of the B11 near the tip with the baton, "I could have used a little longer knife..." Really need a sheath for the MOAB:D

No, Busse knives suck.

But you're in luck. I'm running an INFI relocation program -- I'll even recompense $5/inch for you to send any you have to me for proper disposal.

Nope, they aren't... nothing to see here, move along, move along.:D

Nah, they are loud, grumpy, and will poop on everything. Just keep investing in Infi!

I promise it won't squawk or poop on anything!
