Are ergonomics that important for a EDC...?

Are the ergonomics important on a chair you sit in every day at your office job?

The Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 isn't one of my favorite knives to EDC just because it's cool lookin'.
It's very lightweight for it's size and fits my hand almost perfectly. Better than any of my other knives.

The ergos can be the difference between a good knife and a great knife

Ergonomics is the single most important feature in any knife for me, even an edc I use to open packages and mail. Aesthetics come next, blade steel last of all, unless it's really crap (in which case the rest will be a loser too). If it doesn't feel good in my hand, why use it?

Agree totally.

Ergos are the reason I have been carrying a Cold Steel Tuff Lite lately in addition to my SAK. That knife is like an extension of my hand. I am certainly not trying to impress anyone with my $30 knife.
