Are G10 handles impervious to chemicals?

There is no doubt you can torch Loctie and break it free but that temp going to be in the range that starts melting the G10.
 
I have a spinning pivot on a Kubey knife. It's odd I got it loose just enough for the blade to be off center and the pivot started spinning so I need to come up with a way to hold the pivot from spinning. Keep in mind I live in the Philippines and it is very hard to get stuff here. I'm paying $2 for a wiha bit to use my impact driver. I will be applying as much down force on that pivot to prevent cam out and will heat that pivot to what ever temp is best to break the locktite. I have a digital thermometer that can go up to 600 I don't want to mess up the heat treat on the d2. My torch is butane and comes to a very fine point at the end of the blue so that is where I would heat it I also have a heat deflector to lock it to the size of the pivot.

Are you willing to sacrifice the pivot? If so weld a cheater bar on and remove.
 
I finally got it open had to use a wiha bit and my impact driver the only issue I had was the pivot has 3 sections and the barrel separated from the show side and' stayed attached to the screw side. Everything works fine. I was lucky there; was no damage. I have to use myn impact to remove the pivot. Thank you all for your help.
