Asking for a friend.

(Keep it family friendly...and we all might have a laugh. In other words, don't get me in trouble with my colleagues or we'll shut it down right quick. You've been warned.)

"Well, are they punk?"

Yes. What do i win? ;)
It is a question to appeares every so often, so worth to shar with people thinking alike.
There are so many options out there, that you have ot rank them somehow and price and the value are definitely criteria.

Other than a lot of angry pixies being inconvenienced, not really.

All I'm saying is that when it comes to these threads, you get what you pay for. If you're not willing to pony up for a decent thread, you're going to end up with faulty logic, moving goalposts and, probably, blade play.

I dunno about that. Why spend all these hundreds of dollars on these threads when you could just start a Mora thread. A Mora thread will do everything your high end thread will do at a fraction of the cost.

Why pay for the thread at all? Why not just steal one? Is the juice sweeter when you don't pay for it?

By the way...so that I don't get in trouble with the head pirate in charge, all of my threads are "goods and services" only...not "friends and family" or "net to me".

So, no need to hit the report button. Slowly back away from that button...

...Do it now!

Now, wasn't that worth it?

I’ll have a big fat rail of what you’re having this morning. 😂

I hate when the thread seems like a “tell me about my knife I just inherited”.

Everyone wants to help out someone with a family heirloom.

Then the OP never comes back. Never answers specific questions we ask so we can give a better answer. Never says thanks. Or even worse. Comes back to post the eBay auction link.

Makes me feel cheap and used.
