Are knives made by Camillus any good?

The tang stamp is fairly clear can anyone give me an idea about how old the knife in post #17 is?

Does..........ah, yes - they are good knives! Unless of course you get a bad one. OH

60s-70s. '60-'76 and post '76 Camillus tang stamps were very similar. Hard to tell which you have from your pic.

From your pic, Camillue is written with straight letters not slanted so it's not late 76-80's, there is a long line between Camillus and New York not the short line used 46-50's, so 60-76 they used the tang stamp on your knife, here are some images of the 41 senator pen from old catalogs

I wish they would have made more in real bone or stag. I have a double lockback yellow jacket and it is very well made.
