Are lockbacks easier to open than slippies?

Very intrigued by the GECs with a bull lock. Need to check them out in person first before I'd think of getting one.

Just for the record I'm enjoying mine a lot. The mechanism seemed fiddly and the pull was heavy at first but the lever action became "normal" after a bit and the pull has lightened somewhat. I also realized the leverage advantage of using the end of the nick furthest from the pivot. All in all, it's a solid user and interesting to boot!
