The qualty of the pictures is not that great as i had to use the paint program to shrink the 8MP  pictures down. thanks for looking and what can i improve on.

Nice set of knives, congrats on knives and pictures, job well done.
James

The pics are excellent. I like that drop/spear point up top.:thumbup::thumbup: There....I gave you three more.

thats the christmass exchange knife. i hope the person who gets it likes it.

I like em! What's the deal with the blade on the big bowie? Is it an old couble-cut file?

Now for the pictures, there's great unless you wanna get artsy-fartsy with it and start talking about "composition", then my only advice would be to iron your sheets!lol The straight lines aren't very organic and your eye snaps to them like a magnet.

the bowie is made from an old horse file. i forged down the teeth. i made this 12 years ago. cant beleve i still have it, i will probabley never sell it.

Looks good all the way around. You get more thumbs up from me :thumbup::thumbup: and I am positive that if I got that gift knife I would be very very happy. I am working on my photos and think I just figured something out. Jim

Boy that setup is great on doing the photo's of your work. I need to get one of them. Great looking knives as well. I have some work that's going out to Blade Magazine and this may do the job. How long did it take to get it in the mail. -----

definitely getting some good pics!

Wad up a strip of tape and stick under the tip of the knife to lift it off the table...creates a nice shadow line that accents the knife.

Well done!

Dan

Yes...your light source is to the left and close to you...would need to be farther from you to get a good shadow. Ideally, above at a 45 degree angle.

I'll dig up some examples...

Looks Better!

Are you using something to diffuse the light?
