His is a full tang, but I bet that was a site to see lol. I wouldn't fully trust it either but did it ever take a beating today. We all took after it with the goal of breaking it and we couldn't even put a wave in the edge and it has a nice hollow going to it. I didn't expect it to be such a beast.
Sometimes you can't judge a blade by the Pakistan stamping on the side. That's all.
Mine was full tang too. If all you're doing is playing with your knife, it doesn't really matter if it breaks(well except for injury to yourselves). However, if you depend on your knife as a serious tool, then consistent quality matters.
You can always judge a blade by the Pakistan marking. You can be sure that quality is hit or miss. It sure would suck when you get a miss when you're expecting a hit. Are you willing to bet on a hit every time?
There are probably makers in Pakistan who produce for local use for farmers, etc. Those are the makers I'd trust. None of that export tourist gimmick knives.
