I had a Case amber bone Texas Jack in CV steel... one day, it fell out of my pocket!
It was a great knife, although the scales were much darker than the 'net picture made them look. On mine at least, the scales were a dark, molasses brown. It was a beautiful color though.
Having had one, I can recommend the Case Texas Jack as a worthy purchase. I love the CV steel (the amber bone models come in both stainless and CV), the length of 3.5" was a great size for a slipjoint knife, and it was sufficiently slim in profile for comfortable carry. All told, it's a great knife!
