Are small fixed blade useful ?

Ironically I just started thinking lately how I'm lacking a nice, small fixed blade in the 5-5.5" blade range. I'm not seeing much out there that is kind of a nice mixture of utilitarian/weapon.

I haven't had a chance to read through this thread, but I'll jump in and say I would love to be able to legally carry a small fixed blade. Just way more simple and reliable than a folder. Often cheaper, too.

For me a small fixed blade gets the least amount of use.

I cannot carry one like I would a folding pocket knife, as it's weird to wear it on the belt daily and illegal to conceal it in my state.

Turn on English subtitles and tell me this blade isn't useful....

I have this knife with those scales, I love it! I stripped the black coating and forced a patina. Its mainly used while camping or deep in the bush.
