Are the KZ2's no longer available??

I hope bushwackers will come back as well. Even though I have one CG I still dream about the black & tan handles. I hope that they will be added to the offer.

And some said I was crazy for getting three of them. Well, maybe a little.

I don't see a huge secondary market for them. Don't forget the TTKZ's....they originally sold for $800 and dropped liked stones in a lake, even before there was a definite word of a KZII. Within a month or two of the TTKZ's you could get one brand new for $675-$700. They have never sold for the original asking price on the secondary market.

thats not 100% but there is some truth to what you say. I watched one or two of the ttkz's go for $11-1200 on the auction sight. I ve also seen a couple go for $900 ish back in the day too.....ebb, and flow.

ebb, and flow;)

The TTKZ's only went down in price because the grind needed tweaking and those who did'nt want to do it all decided to off load them after the 6 months "no sale" time limit was up .... that created a bit of a "glut" on the exchange .... and prices fell accordingly .... just like "stocks and shares" I guess ....

At the time I wondered whether I should pick up some extra examples for $600 and tweak them and sit on them for the right day .... but I did'nt know when the final version was going to be and I also wanted to score a Nuclear version after seeing the induction blade .... so I held off and did a little saving ....

But if those who have them keep sharpening them with belt sanders for a zero convex grind they will find that they get better the thinner they get .... plus you need a little technique with a khukri and that only comes through practise .... so straight out the gate they won't impress as much as they will in good time ....

And they are impressive when they are working right ....

That's one chop and it's sunk passed the spine .... so I am pretty sure their price will be safe in the long run  Great performance is always "in demand" ....

Never fails to bring a smile to my face to see someone use a $600 (and up) knife to chop a tree!
