Are the Mythbusters knife guys?

On a few episodes I've seen them both using some nice folders. They flip em open like champs. Anyone notice what kind?

I've seen them both use a Leatherman from time to time. Not sure which model though.

Adam has used a Leatherman multitool. Think it was the Wave, but I can't prove it. Recall him using it to cut the poppy seed cake he ate before taking a drug test.

I could use some poppy seed cake right about now, come to think of it.

Jamie is a big multiguy. Carries a bit of everything from Swisstools to SOGs to LM's. He's also a big fenix flashlight guy. Adam, uses a Charge most of the time.

Adam Savage is definitely into knives...

He tweeted about cutting his finger with one of his pocket knives in August of 2009. So, being the snoop that I am, I asked him what kind of pocket knife it was. And the sharpener that he said he was using. And his reply was:

@Schuey2k2 (<< My old account) A Lone Wolf D2 signed by Bill H himself did the damage. Sharpener is a new Spyderco ceramic thingamabob. It works!!

He also tweeted this about another knife around that same time..

I remember on the episode where they made batman gear, specifically the bat hook or whatever, and they were testing them out. Jamie got to the ceiling of the building they were in and had to reverse on his device. Had to cut his line and use the safety line to get back down. Though when it cut the line, he damn near took his eye out.

Not sure what their thoughts are on the subject though.
