My Viele Wasp is a great knife for the price, from a Big 5 sale. It's never faced anything tougher than cardboard, and it does as well as my more expensive knives. I really like my fixed blade First Strike 2705, it's one tough slab of steel for camping/hiking chores. Don't get me wrong, I use these knives for the same reason I ride a Yamaha and not a Harley, you just got to be happy with what you can afford.
