This is from a good while back when Ryan Johnson's RMJ Forge was him forging hawks and you could custom order models he forged himself. The hawk head is on a plain tapered hickory handle (drifted eye) for throwing. When I ordered it he delivered the hawk head on a carved and fire darkened hickory handle with brass tacks and leather strips with beads. It is a keeper.

First Nitro V as well. Magnacut would have been nice but I doubt I will tell a diff. (No magnacut to be found). Probably only see light edc use and I like the idea of acquiring a steel that I don’t already have.

That's a really sweet hawk. Ryan continues to do his forged work under a different name, to separate it from the RMJ offerings. Check out "Gold Point Forge." His GPF work can be found through a few select retailers. 👍
