are there no PM2s for sale?

I would recommend signing up on waiting lists at any dealer you can find. And then when its available, snag it up. I bought my first one at a serious premium bc I couldn't wait any longer. Now whenever I see any available I buy them for myself or give them as gifts. Everyone I have given one to loves it. Gl on your hunt.
 
there are plenty in the aftermarket. try searching the for sales forum.
 
I just ordered a Black Para 2 with Digicam scales from the for sale by dealers page on this forum. Also i have seen variations of them on Kershawguy.com and a couple of other places. The ones that are for sale by dealers are brand new, and the same price as most of the para 2's on the for sale by individuals page, even if they have been used. Thats why i opted to buy a brand new one that no one has used.
 
Spyderco's own forum has a thread where people post dealers that currently have pm2 in stock. I would check there 1st.
 
National knives gets them in stock a lot , your wasting your time with bigger sites like knife center and blade hq they sell out in minutes

We can all tell you love National Knives given how many times you mention them in your posts but there is no need to bash other great sellers.

To the OP: just keep your eyes open and check multiple sites daily. They have been popping up lately.

Warriors and Wonders is a Canadian paid dealer here and has the black/satin, black/black and black/camo the satin/camo is sold out right now. Prices are in CAD so adjust for it to be less in USD.
 
Knifeworks has excellent prices, but you have to wait. I waited about 4 weeks for camo/satin and black/black pm2s. If you can wait, their prices are hard to beat. And 5% off right now!
 
Ok now i feel OP's pain. I thought i had one on the way but come to find out that the site that i ordered from had inventory issues over the weekend and now is out of stock. I tried the spyderco forums but cannot find the thread that shows where the pm2 is in stock, sorry for my incompetence can someone link it?

Just use the search function on their forum, it's identicle to the one here. They both work. ;)
 
Don't forget to add various knife dealers to your Facebook feed.

I have seen Cutlery Shoppe, Knifeworks and National Knives announce when they get the Para-Military 2 in stock because of this.
 
I just ordered on Thursday from howesknifeshop.com I think they had maybe 11-12 , They are probably all gone but worth a shot.

They still have camo/satin left, but for how long who knows. In any case, OP, if you check their new stock section periodically, you'll be able to snag one at a pretty decent price. Otherwise, dealers like GPKnives let you sign up for email alerts.
 
National Knives gets them in once a week or every few weeks, they also are in stock longer because its not a real known site. I got mine from there and they where great to deal with :thumbup:
