Are these carbide banding?

Now, I did read somewhere that alloy banding causes a higher concentration of carbides at the edge, which can cause it to sharpen more “toothy” and cut a little longer than normal. But also at the risk of edge chipping.. but since INFI is as tough as it is, I’d wager you’d get the benefits of higher concentration carbides without much of the disadvantages.

Plus they are pretty cool aesthetically. Physically seeing the carbides is cool as heck.
