Are these clones? (Chaves and Hinderer)

Not good. Don't buy from someone like that and report him in the good bad and ugly subforum regardless of where you found him. Protect your fellow knife nuts

There was no question in that sentence, I was merely mulling it over in my head via a keyboard and this thread.

He said that the add stated it was a fake but It did not. I have no clue if he is a member here as this is on craigslist. From the feedback above it appears the hinderer is indeed real. I will still probably pass though.

If you are worried about them....don't buy them. Their price is probably too good to be true.

And if you miss a "real deal,"...it happens. If you buy an overpriced clone...you are stuck. Better to err on the side of caution.

So true. Easier to save up for quality knives if you don't spend it on questionable product.
