They would have been pretty thin before I tapered the tang. Thanks for your help with that btw. The knife is way nicer now, plus I now know that I can taper any tang I want.
But now that it's tapered, it just looks too thin. They actually feel great, but it just looks odd. I could make up another batch of the handle material, but I went and attached the liners and I don't have any more in white. They ain't comin off without destroying them.
My options are to go ahead and finish it with these, or make a new thicker batch sans liners. I have some zebra wood that a friend gave me but it's about 1/4" thick. Same problem.
Other than that I can just put it on hold until I can buy some g10 or something. I have no idea when that might be though.
