Are you a fan of carbon fiber clips?

Here's one I ordered with no holes from a knife supply dealer. I removed the stock clip and used as a jig for the hole pattern onto this clip. I love the Blackwash Skyline but didn't like the stock satin clip. Took a strong ultralight knife and made it even lighter

Was thinking about picking up one of these for one of my Rat 1 knives. Good to know they will fit with a little tweaking.

I had to adjust all four that I have. I snug the hole end in my vice and just use my heat gun pointed at the base while I apply slight force with my finger. You'll feel when the carbon fiber softens. Just push slightly forward. Hold until it sets...15 to 20 seconds approx.

When you heat the Carbon fiber clip, are you softening the Carbon fiber or the resin that is holding the Carbon fiber in place? Is there any degradation of the fiber and/or the resin? Is this procedure recommended by the manufacturer of the clip? Sorry for all the questions. This is all new to me.

Honesty tiguy7 I can only speculate because I don't know. I would strongly assume its the resin that softens and not the carbon fiber? In regards to the manufacturer recommending this, again I don't know? I guess this mod to increase retention would be no different then the procedure to make the clip?

Wish I had a solid answer for you :o

Google "carbon fiber pocket clip" and it'll lead you directly to the manufacturer's site.
