Are you happy now ? Whats next ?

OHYAH . . . totally HAPPY !
I have no machetes, no large Bowies, (no small Bowies though I had a customer call my Manix XL a Bowie )(I don't have the Manix anymore).
I could go on and on about what I don't own. Basically I have a good number of "pocket knives" ranging from ~ 1/3 inch to six inch.
My last big purchase was my Benchmade 940-1 (carbon fiber handle, S90V blade). That was the end of the road. (well there were one or two plain high carbon knives in there after that but yah).

I was EDCing my Endura 4 ZDP-189 today and yesterday, had a Cold Steel Lucky in the other pocket and a Case Trapper CV in a belt pouch . . . just in case . . .
Just in case of what you ask ?
Well . . . just in case . . . I need to show someone a nice patina.

Yah . . . no more knives . . . I'm happy.
Well unless I get a chance to buy one of them Para 2s in M4
or
I guess there is always the chance that I might order a Maximet this or that while sleep walking some night.
But that's ALL.
I'm going out on a limb here and saying that you'll buy plenty more knives in your lifetime just like I can see myself doing. After all if you carry more than one knife in the "pocket" I'd say your in deeper than me! ;)

Pretty happy at the moment. Would like to get a ZT someday.
Liking the 0095BW.
Dude I tried to love ZT0450 CF and I just couldn't..ended up selling it to my buddy, it just didn't have enough real estate for me in the end. Beautifully functional knife though nonetheless

Yeah, I hear ya. The 0452 is a little bigger. Just wish it came in a black blade.

I think you need a Fallkniven :)
Fixed blade A1 or maybe one of the folders like the small U2

I've got all the bases covered, but there are still many blades I haven't tried yet.

I wouldn't mind finding another inexpensive American high Value modern-ish folder I actually like, there are quite a few traditional patterns I've yet to experience, and there are some edc-able fixed blades of interest.

Traditional as in a slip joint? I was looking at one a little while back then I decided to just buy a GB and throw so custom wood scales on it so now the blade feels like a "new-old school" folder and I love it!
Sadly I hoped on the band wagon about needing a edc fixed blade and my damn G3 spends more time in my drawer than on my belt. But I feel like that's just my career, there have been times where it's come in handy though and I was glad I had something sharp as hell with no moving parts.

Lol, with all the great new knives being put out every year by companies like Spyderco and ZT it hard to not be tempted. :D

I should have said more, because I already carry fixed blades often and one of those edc'able fixed blades of interest is the Buck 119.
And not all of the traditionals I'm thinking about are slipjoints most are but not all.
I haven't tried a single blade case slimline trapper, opinel, douk douk, k55, Christy knife, an mil-k, and many many others I've had interest in.

Yeah, I've been thinking about buying one of those cheap Opinels and throwing it into my kitchen drawer for my wife she she food preps. I hear its one knife that every "knife nut" has to try. Not to mention they are cheap as hell!

The Opinel slims inox are great for food prep. The 10 is excellent, and the 12 slim bubinga mirror polish is additionally beautiful (for a few more bucks).

The recon 1 pretty much covers all the bases for an edc folder. Except it ain't made in USA. But that's easy to get over when you haven't many choices left hah

I don't think knife nuts are ever happy. Satisfied momentarily but always looking for that grail. Although i have way more steel than needed i would like to add 1 Busse Team Gemini A2, ZT 0300, and a Spyderco Super Blue knife. Any model will do but i prefer no stainless cladding.

Awesome man! Let me know how those ergos are on that thing.
I also have a Recon 1 coming as a spare. I can tell you that if you ever have a desire to edc a large knife like the Military, you ll love the Recon 1.
Great egos, excellent strength , and first rate fit and finish. For a great price. Search online vendors for a current great sale on CS.

Is there an end to knife collecting? I always like to try sell and repeat. Some are near and dear so they stay. Not to say some that i sell I don't like but they help fund future purchases. This is not a need but a hobby. Knives don't make or break my happiness. They are only material things.
