Ari. desert ironwood glue up

Have never used this material before. Cleaned a degreased everything, put some mechanical locks in the pins and scales. Is there anything else to this type of wood I should do before I glue up?

Mechanical fasteners and good epoxy is all you need. Wipe with acetone and your good to go.

We have used a whole lot of it..Just clean it good(I prefer alcohol) and use a good quality epoxy. Here I would suggest West systems G/flex of AcraGlas..Pins or any kind of mechanical fastener are fine.
