Haven't heard anything about this lately, and am planning out my schedule for the month. Is this still in the works? Who all is planning to attend? Last I heard it was Mamav, Yiterp, and Yvsa only had committed, but I could be out of date.

I would like to try to make it if it is still happening, and am hoping for a good turnout!

Isn't that the day of the Rusty memorial in Hawthorne NV? Very appropriate to have forumites meeting on that day.

I plan on attending -- still need to e-mail Mamav for directions. Will bring belt sander, cleaning & sharpening stuff, and a few khuks.
 
Though I won't be able to attend, I am trusting that HI forumites with long blades will dutifully kill a Rattler in AZ in Spring. (where legal, of course)

We'll be there if everything goes alright and I don't come up sick again, fighting a lymph node gland and upper respritory infection now for over three weeks.:grumpy:
We're planning on leaving the 19th and looking forward to a road trip, it's been much too long!!!!:D
Wondering what kind of mileage the Camry will get on the highway, been averageing 25 here around town, finally got 2,000 miles on it since November.:cool:
Barb didn't drive it for the first 1K miles, kept waiting for me to put the 1st ding in it.

If my DR hadn't of canceled my apointment for Tuesday to Wednesday there would've been a whole lot of dents in it.:cool: :D They had a hail storm that broke windows out of one Dr's car and beat the hell out of all of them in the parking lot.:eek:
We sure enough do have something looking out for us!!!!:D
 
Yvsa, the first new truck I ever bought I remember driving 30 miles to the beach in Orange Co Ca. I inadvertantly forgot to shift from 4th to 5th gear, and ruined my milage. When I reached my friend's house, he had no idea why I was so upset. HE didn't understand new cars and small budgets, I guess. LOL. Well, once I joined the NRA and married a Christian he had no use for me anyway.

I"ll be there :D since it's at my house. :) Looking forward to the gathering. Should be fun. I have the video of how they make khuks we can check out sometime if we want in addition to all the other plans. It's a very interesting video. Out of towners let me know and maybe we can get a better deal on hotels. I have a little grass if you want to pitch a tent, too.

Gin just how good is your grass and do you have enough to go around for everyone? ;)
Does it compare to Thai Stick or Acapulco Gold, or maybe the reknowned old time Tulsa Tops? :eek: :D ;)

Not that I know what I'm talking about or anything, just something I used to hear my kids talking about.:rolleyes: :p :D :footinmou

All Right!!!! Uwinv we're gonna try like hell to get over to Ming's Chinese Restaurant this time, if you're not too busy that is!!!! :D
At least I hope they're still in business I haven't heard Paula say anything about going over there for a while. She used to go to Ming's about three times a week or more for lunch.

Well, just to keep you guys on your toes and make all those not coming jealous :D :eek: :p ;) Yangdu is sending me a box of goodies so we can shark out at my place. So be sure to bring your padded wallets :eek: or checkbooks. Heck, you can even use my computer to paypal me. L :D L

Sounds like it'll be fun. Pala is helping to pick out the assortment so we'll see what we get this time. Yeehawwwww. :D
 
Mamav, that sounds great! I will email you in a few days to get driving directions to your place. I totally blew my budget this week as since there had been no UBBB's for so long I went ape over all the unique knives Yangdu had on special from 4/4 on, but will try and save up for the trip.

I will get further details from you, but I am assuming everyone is meeting at your place Saturday morning. My plan was to head out Thursday for Las Vegas where my brother lives, and then Friday head into Mesa and spend the night and arrive at your place Saturday a.m.

I'll talk to you as it gets closer to get more info and directions.
