I am planning on getting a custom knife from Arizona custom knives, although I am a little worried based on complaints I have heard. Does anyone know if they have it "together" yet?

I am confident she has her problems resolved, and is 100% now... You wont have a problem dealing with Arizona Custom Knives...

I used to buy from them alot in years past. Recently I notice its run by a new person. Whatever happened to Jay and Karen Sadow?

Jay and Karen sold the business to Julie.

As with Jay and Karen, Julie is a person I do have faith in. Communication was been a little slow a while back, due to some personal stuff, dealing with her should be no problem at all now. We have to keep in mind that just like a maker, when a person is running a business solo, there will be times when communication might be slow.

I have completed several transactions with Julie recently and ALL of them went without a hitch. Julie is VERY conscious of her business and does everything possible to ensure that the Customer is happy. Since she is still a one "woman" show she works very hard to excel at every task, not an easy goal but none the less one she strives for. I have purchased from just about every Web Dealer and count her one of the best.
