Arkansas Custom Knife Show - Preview of makers and knives

It was a good show with the new venue. Lighting was good. Always nice to see old friends, and yes, many people stepped up their game with what they brought.

Chuck Ward and David Etchieson has done a good job all of these years with the show and I thank them. I am also looking forward eagerly to the new show promoters. They have a history of doing very well with other events.

That said it all.

I believe that it was a good show for all involved. As Jerry said, the venue worked out well and the rainy weather didn't defer the crowd as numbers were good for it.

I would like to say my thanks to both David and Chuck and all of the rest of the AKA members for all of the hard work that they have done in making this such a successful show over the years. Doing my small 50 table show gives me a small idea of what it must take to put together a show of this size and keep it successful for all of these years. WELL DONE!

I hope that the show has the continued success that it have enjoyed for these many years. You guys in Arkansas know how to make an enjoyable weekend for all involved and I sincerely thank you as it has been my favorite show to attend for a long time.

It was a great show! The new venue worked great. A big thanks to David, Lin, and Chuck for their work over the years making the AKA show what it is. I'm looking forward to the new management taking over. I think the best days of the Little Rock show are yet to come. I was really honored to get the best fighter and best bird & trout awards. I was plumb tickled when they called Dad up for best sheath too! Thanks to all that voted for us. Their was some really awsome knives on the tables...I'll have to step up my game next year for sure. Sales seemed to be pretty good. I sold out before 9 a.m. on Saturday. Others were reporting good sales too. I also brought home a Bruce Bingenheimer flipper and a Bobby Toole slip-joint so I guess I'm a collector of sorts. Y'all be sure and come back next year!

Here's a short clip of the Saturday crowd taken from my table. Click on the link below.
