Arkansas Custom Knife Show - Report and Pics

1) Striper 28 - sorry, I didn't get a pic of the Hanson folder - I really hope someone else did.

2) Danbo - that's a sweet little hunter with nicely matched stag - that was a good buy for sure.

3) Keith - you're not the only one fond of that Andrews bowie - as I recall Danbo showed it to a number of knifemakers and other enthusiasts at the show. All were favorably impressed.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone at the show! The caliber of knives at the show was unbelievable. I was in awe at the level of craftsmanship that was displayed! The Journeyman smith knives were well designed and executed works of art. The Mastersmith knives were...well that is why they are Mastersmiths! I was able to speak with many of the other knifemakers on Sunday and all were freindly and free with the exchange of information. Again the quality of knives that were present blew me away, if you are able to attend this show next year I highly reccomend it!
It was a pleasure meeting RogerP, his eye for knives may rival Danbo's. It was also a pleasure meeting Amy Hinchman face to face after exchanging e-mails with her about knives. If I left out any others from the forum i am sorry, it wasn't intentional I will blame it on sensory overload!:)

Sometimes I get way to impatient. It's just that I really want to see these pictures. Arkansas is a hotbed for bladesmiths and this show has to be one of the premier events for the forged blade, and as people know, I have a bit of a soft spot for forged blades.
 
ark was a great show if u were a collector
most guys didnt sell that much
i got rid of 2 knives and took 2 orders that nsaved the day for me(1400 mile drive)
they had to move the show and it did snow (bad )
sun u could have played bowling for dollers in the isles
this was my first yr there and everyone told me that the show was WAY OFF compared to prevouis yrs
thought???

it was WAAAAYYYY off.
should have been much busier both days...maybe next year will be better?
