The Little Rock Hilton where we normally have the show is undergoing extensive rennovations so we will not be able to host the show at that location. We were only notified of this very recently.
The show will now be held at the Robinson Center Exhiibition Hall in downtown Little Rock. The Robinson Center is attached to a DoubleTree Hotel. The hotel is located at 424 West Markham. Phone numbers for the hotel are 501 372 4371 and 1 800 937 2789. The show room ratres will only be held until 21-30 days before the show. Make reservations early. They will honor the Hilton prices for rooms.
At the show Hall there is a large roll up door and loading dock. A state Ducks Unlimited Convention ad a large RV show also are occuring in the same vicintiy that weekend. A good time shall be had by all.

Thanks Jerry, I knew that there was some reason that I always wait till the last minute to make room reservations :). See you there.
Troy got us a room.

I travelled to this show last year and had a great time. How can you beat getting to see Mr. Fisk, Big John, Ron Newton and many more at the same time. I would suggest you order a knife or ten:) for delivery
at the show. What's on the tables goes FAST!!

In fact I just recieved two knives from Ron Newton that I ordered at the show. They are awesome and Stag to boot!!

I have a conflict this year and will be elsewhere but I will truly miss this group.

WHAT? No Win? We'll miss ya buddy! Oh well, at least my Newton hunter will be safe! :)

Going to stick this for a couple of days so the word gets out that the venue has changed.

Thanks Gus. This is a really good show, and the word needs to get out. I would hitchhike to get to this show!

I take it your coming again this year, danbo?
You forumites want to get together for lunch or dinner on friday or saturday?
Cant wait for the show. Not the biggest, but definitely one of the best.

Of course I am coming to this show, Mo. I will gladly allow you to buy the Pizza, seeins how you are gainfully employed and all.

We can stick it back up top again when we get a little closer to the show.

Thanks for helping us out Gus. This all kind of caught us flat footed. I had also forgotten to mention that the date is the same, Feb 8-9 just the location only changed. Hope to see some of you folks in the room.

Sure just send me a quarter :D

I looked at the show location today, lots of space, better all around. The backlog for those wanting table space is all but eliminated. Good restaurants, snack shops and on street plus deck parking spaces very close. River Market area, Historic Arkansas Knife exhibit, Old State House and several other attractions, for our travel companions that are not " Knife Nuts" like we are. Its still small enough to be a fun, layed back show. A new batch of makers (due to the extra space) such as Mat Lamey, Bailey Bradshaw, Jerome Anders, Rusty Polk, will now have a table. And yes you can understand what the guy on the P A set has to say without being close enough to read his lips.
At the old location the space was limited both in front and behind the tables. If two people were in front of tables across the isle from each other, no one could get past. PA system was better than nothing, but not much.

Come see us, your bound to like it.

:D :D :D :D :D
