American Civil War knife, unique in that it is one of the last examples of a "medieval dagger" type knife I've seen.
Forge, hammer and anvil forged, from A36 carbon steel, (carbon content .260 almost medium carbon) from a 1" X 1/2" bar
blade dimensions:
9" long X 1/4" thick @ spine X 2" wide at base

Pomell and crossguard are malleable iron, and A36 respectively, but left in "as forged" condition, meaning the thick, rust resistant blue oxide coating was left on...

$155 shipped
