Army & Navy Co-operative Society Sportsman's Knife

You need to post pics in this thread

Not mine, but a modern rendition of the Fisherman's knife by Mathieu Herrero. Gorgeous

FWIW, re. age of this Army & Navy CSL Sportsman's Knife it was just appraised at "1880-1900." Not too shabby for a 115-135 year old multi-tool. I guess most got used to death as there don't seem to be many intact survivors.

Did A & N CSL supply the British Military?

Shannon, for your further information, I think that it's generally considered to be bad form to make identical posts between two different forums as you're doing, particularly without bothering to contribute anything else to those forums. The well-respected poster on the other forum did not establish your knife as being made by Joseph Rodgers, and I doubt many people here or there would have expected him to - something he has made explicitly clear to you, but which you have not corrected here, or even acknowledged there. I can understand you wanting to find out as much as possible about this knife, but you'll get more help if you conduct your search in a better way. You're asking people for a lot of help, but in spite of repeated requests, you've STILL not posted photos of your knife in this forum in the accepted fashion here. If you had done so originally, I dare say that other established posters here might have contributed to this thread. As it is, I'm not prepared to help you further, until you take some notice of forum etiquette.
