I just purchased this knife off of Ebay and it was only 10$. It shipped from China.

"New Fixed Blade W/Oxhide Sheath For Hunting"

But, when I get it, it has an Arno Bernard logo on the blade. No mention was made in the description that he was the maker.

There are now 5 more knives like this with the same listing.

Does anyone not think this is an example of forgery? He sells a lot of knives on Ebay and maybe someone wants to cash in on that? Any thoughts on this?

They produce fakes with every name on them.I couldn't make that sheath for $10.00.You should take down that link because dealspotting is frowned on here.

The Arno Bernard logo on the blade is a big problem IMO.

Blatant copying is annoying enough, but that is true "knock-off".

It is a nice, clean design though.

It wasn't meant to be a "dealspot". And not really even sure what that is or why it would be frowned upon. Just thought people might want to see for themselves.

I think the link should stay so more people can see it and report those knives as fake to eBay. Luckily the listings will be pulled and the seller may even be banned.

i posted a warning about this one a while back. it's really too bad that what would otherwise be an ok for the price knife gets ruined because some idiot decided it would sell better with a stolen name.

Well, with the knife I bought, the seller didn't mention the name at all and it wasn't evident in the photos, so he obviously wasn't using it as a selling point. My guess is that someone else is making them to sell as copies and the ones that are maybe a bit off he passes off to that ebay seller.

What sucks is that there is little that a maker can do to a counterfeiter making counterfeit knives from China. The legal arm of justice is just a wee bit too short to reach much further than the fifty States.

If there were some way to make criminal laws universal guys like this crook and the saudi scammer would need to go to E-bay and buy soap-on-a-rope.
