That Proto Cleaver (likely a 721 variant) is a freaking BEAST! Just over 3/16" thick and very forward-heavy.

This was a very nice piece to get in my bag. It's almost too nice to use. 5/16" thick, it stands on it's edge easily.lol The coating is bronze. The logo side is truly bronze. The opposite, is more antiqued bronze. It's almost a very warm black. Never seen one like this. You can see the difference between the colors. In the last photo of the tip on the spine. Talk me out of sticking this through a car.lol

I only figured out it was a HOG when I saw the swedge. That coating is very stealth and slimming. Sweetest score so far - im my book.
edit to add, the moment I realized it was a HOG, I felt major ragrets.

You got any experience with the cerakote finish? Does it hold up when used ?

I don't have any experience with the Cerakote used on the Busse, but I do have experience with framelocks and pocket clips I've had coated. It will hold up fairly well over time. It doesn't chip like paint does, so it will just wear away on high contact areas. I've also had multiple shotgun barrels coated for my shotguns I've used for waterfowl hunting. It holds up fairly well to repeated cycling and holds up really well in the field.
I've used cerakote on firearms and it's held up nice, but I figure a knife gets more of a beating
it's a shame I'm gonna mess it all up I guess

My new TGLB SE is the only A2 Busse I own. Now I have the Hog Gemini, TGULBs, TGLBs... what I'm missing are the original TG, Forsaken Gemini, TG-M, and TG-P variants! But I'm happy with the Geminis I got...
