:D

How did it taste? Never ate snake before... Might be based on the fact that we dont have that much over here in Germany :D

Terrible. Not the taste so much but the texture was horrid. I've had some snake that was really good, this wasn't.

I have never eaten a snake that I liked. Period. "Tastes like chicken". Bullshit!

Shotgunner, that last pic was priceless. I would like to put together a thorough review on the Arrowhead and it's uses. Anyone think of any uses other than, Spear, Arrow, Trap Component, Fire Steel Striker, Utility Knife? Any other ideas?

I've had it professionally prepared in a kitchen where is was soaked in buttermilk, breaded and fried and it was really good.

Also had some that was mixed into a stew and it was also pretty decent, but there were ALOT of spices.

I think you nailed it shotty: spices. I think you could season a cow turd enough to eat it.

i haven't had much use for mine. i took it out, held it, threw it at the box it came in a few times, made a video on it, then put it back in the box. just recently i looked at it again and it had started to rust!

That's a great looking setup! If you take Jeff's advice you can easily EDC 2 of them with you all day long as earrings and not have to worry about a sheath. I guess you could use it for whatever your imagination comes up with:

Firesteel striker
Spear tip
Small blade for a survival kit
Can be used in traps/snares
Use for a frog gig/fish spear
Field expedient survival bow/arrow (tip)
Survival earrings (J/K)

If you would bolt three of them together you can make a throwing star and we can make fun of you.

Once you cut the string that holds it in, it slides right out.
My rationale for using a string is, first off I wanted to utilize the hole in the arrowhead somehow....secondly, I figure this piece isn't something that will go in and out all day long like using your knife. Cut the string, use it, then use a piece of string to tie it back in place.
I used some braided artificial sinew, but anything will work, twine, paracord, etc.

nifty sheath!

if you made something that could hold two or three arrowheads (front and back?) even nicer :)

Really like it. I was thinking that if you use a soft shackle or a bead and loop you wouldn't have to cut and tie the string each time you use it. Good job

I think it would be fun, yet expensive, to nail one to a tree with a LONG nail, and use it as a very cool trail marker!
