Artisans of Cutlery knives from Blade Show

The Lisch piece looks very similar to the one I got by FedEx yesterday, except my feather has a pure nickle quill and Dave's mug on the butt:D
All of these are awesome Bill, congrats!

Then that makes ours a rare bird Bill. As far as I know Dave has only done the self portrait buttcap twice, once for me and once for you!

Every one one of them exceptional pieces. My choice would be the collaboration knife though. Hard choice.

John you are right I have only done two of the SP and the knife bill has is not the other one. Bill your knife has the indian chief butt cap. but it dose look like me before I lost my hair

Bill,
Compliments on the stunning display! The group is a beauty!
I was particularly impressed with Dave Lisch's work, at Blade.
Handles, guards, very accomodating. Separate from artistry, i like his feel for the design elements. (artistry is good too.;))

Wow... an instant collection!

I think the collaboration piece is my favorite... but all are superb. :)

Bill,
Thanks for taking the time to have our knives put together for a group photo. Nice job Coop. The first Artisans show at Blade, was the best knife show experiences I have ever had. For the first time I really felt connected to the (collector). For me, it was more than just selling a knife. I felt appreciated for what it is I make.

Bill, thanks again for your support of the Artisans group.

Michael

and again thanks to Coop :)

A beautiful knife, Bill. Congrats again!

One of the special things about handling a knife in person is the shimmer of chatoyancy in either the handle materials and/or the damascus. It's truly a motion picture in movement. No way can I capture all of this. I can only snap a still photo of this movement.

Tom's steel is SO very fluid and fine, as clear as this shot is, it still can't do this knife complete justice.

Any other pro will be nodding their head in agreement of what I am encountering. Nonetheless, there is still plenty to see and admire, that it doesn't negate the shot. It's just not 100% of the story. :)
