Artist? Like knives? Help us design a logo contest

Guys we're not trying to take anyone. We just can't afford to spend much right now, so we thought we might give a member here a chance to get some credit with us for something that might be a hobby they do for free anyway.

My girlfriend is a graphics artist and production manager for a large local printing company, but I'm trying to let her save some time for me ;) She actually is the one who did OneStop's new logo about a year ago.

So if you have the time to spare, and would like the credit, design away. If not, don't. We don't want anyone to feel that we've cheated them.

BTW guys and gals, even if we don't use your exact design, but just draw from it heavily, we will still award you the credit.

Also, we will gladly credit the artist on our site.

Lots of good entries so far. I'm not much of an artist, but hey, for $50 credit, I thought it was worth a shot. Actually, I would have done it for free.

Hmmm. Looking back at my first submission, I didn't quite get your name exactly right did I? Here's a fix and some changes:

Ok guys we've decided. There were many great designs submitted of which we appreciate all. From the beginning fulloflead's first design really caught our eye. The last modification to it is close enough to what we want that we only need make some minor revisions.

Here is the final logo we chose. fulloflead is the winner as we borrowed from his design heavily. The area below the V will change to include a slogan, website address, phone number etc....
