Artsig1 - Delivered the goods.

First, let me state that I realize there is another thread going on with some rather unpleasant things to say about Artsig1.

I do not know this person, but I just completed a transaction with him.
Had I found the other thread before I purchased my knife from him, in all honestly I probably would have not done business with him.

However, I did not discover the other thread until after I made my purchase. And, then well, I decided to let it ride and see what would happen.

I committed to the purchase on 9/2. I sent Artsig1 a money order on 9/3 or 9/4. He replied when he received the money order, and again when he shipped. Roughly 16 days from mailing of money order to receipt of knife.

That is a little longer than I expected, and probably longer than average. However, considering the difficulties others are saying he is having, I think it is quite forgivable.

Point is, yes, I feel for those who are having difficulties with Artsig1, but in all fairness, I must report a good transaction when it occurs. Perhaps this will instill hope for others.

The knife was great, communication was great, I agreed to the price.

Also, let me state that this was only my 2nd transaction here. I certainly do not hope to offend anyone by what I stated. It is my hope that all who are having problems with this seller reach a successful conclusion.

AND, thank you one and all for allowing a newbie like me to be a part of this website.
 
Hey if thats your expierence, THAN good to hear! YOU did quite a bit better than most others as Im sure you know ;) . thats what this section is for, thanks for sharing and enjoy the new blade.

Thank you. From reading the other thread, it appears I was fortunate. Hopefully things will work out for the best, for all.

Not true. Artsig has done many, many, many, transactions that turned out to be good ones.
 
That is always reassuring. :) Guess i should have specified, since this yrs. "MOST RECENT" lapse of judgement :) Thanks for your assistance.

As I stated in the other thread, I hope that Art uses the money he is getting for knives he is selling now to pay those he owes.
 
Sorry to say BUT I had Addressed liquidation to Art in a PM on 9/19 elsewhere, Question ignored, AND When land sold, ALL will be paid?, short of that NO RESPONSE... SORRY. Thats what your dealing with and that was as far as I could get on that issue?. Didn't want to bump other thread with such again, Basically Land sale proceedes....or ??? :( . draw your own conclusions and Handle accordingly. And again glad all above worked out the way it did above most importantly.
