Whoa dude, my heart just jumped up in my throat! Thanks for the kind words once I got to the message. Glad you liked that "home customized" Crawford. That was the Sifu before there was a Sifu. Still think that it has some possibilites, if not Mr. Crawford may repair that home customization job.

Thanks Russ,
Art Sigmon

currently in the middle of a deal with artsig....so far all has gone smoothly....anxiously awaiting his goodie package....feverdoc

The topic title caught me too. I just completed a great deal with him. The knife was waiting for me when I got back from vacation, perfect!

Art helped me over e-mails with my 730BT (that I got in a trade from someone else for a used MT UDT) that had some QC errors. It is now doing very well. Fixed the centering with his help. I, however, scratched up the Axis bar and Benchmade wouldn't let me buy a new one without paying a $20 fee for void warranty and then mailing it back and paying for additional parts. Art then told me about SmallParts.com and asked my address so he could send me some information. Well, two days later, the "information" showed up... and it was a new Benchmade 940-BT Osborne with a note saying that he understood what it was like to be out of money and have just messed up your knife. Thanks again, Art. I will return the favor sometime for another young knife knut in the future (when I get a job).
